What to buy a pregnant lady for Christmas

These are gifts for her, not for her future child.

+New Look has a great, basic, "welcome to your pregnant body", starter set. You can't have too many basics. Just as a guide, whatever size they were before they became pregnant: that is the size they are in their maternity clothes. Just imagine them without the bubble; if they look like a medium without their baby bump, then they are a medium in maternity clothes.

I don't know if every pregnant woman will want these pajama's by +Topshop, I just know that I want them. I want them bad; can't imagine I am the only one. Lounge wear is probably the best investment for pregnancy.

Stripe Pajamas, £38

If she's 6 months or more chances are she can't see her feet. Help her keep them cozy warm with these slippers from +schuh. Bonus: the rubber soles are non slip.
Slippers are a good choice but you could also take her to get a pedicure together, since she probably can't reach her feet either.

Christmas Inn

Can you tell I'm SO EXCITED?!?!

This place is amazing. Christmas. Themed. Hotel. I am a BIG fan of themed hotels/motels. There's nothing like sleeping in a rocket shaped bed. Actually it's kind of awkwardly shaped and not practical at all but, it's so good. It was kind of a mix up that they gave us two beds but it worked out because I got a bit of a cold from the plane and got to starfish sleep and mouth breath with out disturbing my poor husband.

Obviously I had to rustle up the most festive thing in my suitcase which happened to be:

Green is a holiday color right? Cardigan and socks are Primark, shirt is Motherhood Maternity, skirt is H&M, and the shoes are vintage.

Put on that party dress

Party season!
So you can't drink the eggnog, you can still look good. I am partial to a good sweater dress during the holidays but I'm a simple woman. Here are some charming party dresses that declare: "Hello world, I'm pregnant and fabulous."

Maxi Wrap £189 Isabella Oliver's ultimate glamour, dress to impress and it's multifunctional!
Blue Skater Dress £27.99 What a cute festive little number.
Sweater Dress £46.89 Rock it with some colored tights, if you have any that fit!
Reindeer Dress $59.69 Nothing says holidays like a reindeer print. It looks like wrapping paper in the best way.

Printed Cowl Neck £17.99 Gap has pretty much everything on sale right now, yes please!
Sequin Dress £34.09 I love that this has sequins on the front AND back.
Empire Cocktail £55 Elegant and comfortable. Win.
Wrap Bodycon Dress £38 Perfect for showing off your curves.

30 weeks

Sorry y'all, I'm a bit behind. I had an amazing time at Thanksgiving! My family absolutely smothered me so I had no extra computer time.

Hello baby Ham.

My bump is getting so big I just can't imagine it growing. How does it all fit in there? The websites say Ham is the size of a large cabbage. What does that even mean?
Flying wasn't as uncomfortable as I feared. I made sure to get up, walk around, stretch, exercise, and drink a lot of water. It was about the same discomfort as I've always experienced on long haul coach flights. Just with extra trips to the bathroom.

So here I am in Myrtle Beach where, because of the jet lag, my husband and I got to watch the sunrise over the ocean. This dress is one of my favorites from H&M. It is the perfect trapeze shape and is great for layering.
