Belly back brace

I purchased this brace from Destination Maternity when I was on my honeymoon road trip. It's really come in handy these past few weeks as my back starts to hurt even when I stand for a short period of time, like when I do the washing up.

Everything is so much harder now. My hips and back ache after what I would have previously considered a short walk. I highly recommend getting a brace, even though I didn't think I needed one before I got it. Really, life's so much better with it.

Gettin lucky in Kentucky

Do y'all know how great Kentucky is? Because everyone really should. I am obviously a big fan.

A 3rd trimester road trip is not nearly as complicated as I imagined. As long as you stop and stretch your legs every hour or so it's fine. I would, however, recommend having an emergency plan for when you really have to pee and there is no relief in sight. I bought a bed pan from Walgreens and made my husband swear he would still love me if worse came to worse. I didn't end up using it but there were a few close calls on those winding Kentucky roads.

We stayed at Country Girl at Heart B&B, which is a working farm. I got to hold puppies! She was incredibly hospitable and accommodating. There are things you should avoid when you're pregnant around live stock but as long as you try to keep your hands to yourself and wash them thoroughly you'll be fine.

Can you tell I'm SO EXCITED?!?!

This place is amazing. Christmas. Themed. Hotel. I am a BIG fan of themed hotels/motels. There's nothing like sleeping in a rocket shaped bed. Actually it's kind of awkwardly shaped and not practical at all but, it's so good. It was kind of a mix up that they gave us two beds but it worked out because I got a bit of a cold from the plane and got to starfish sleep and mouth breath with out disturbing my poor husband.

Obviously I had to rustle up the most festive thing in my suitcase which happened to be:

Green is a holiday color right? Cardigan and socks are Primark, shirt is Motherhood Maternity, skirt is H&M, and the shoes are vintage.

Best Performance: Maternity Jeans

I was a maternity denier. I was convinced that I could wear leggings for 9 months and then my mother basically forced me to go shopping for jeans that would actually fit. Dammit, mother knows best. I love my maternity jeans...which is a sentence I never thought I would say.
